First in America Data Report This draft report contains the set of indicators or measures that will enable the state to chart its progress toward the First in America goal. Most of the indicators come from federal agencies or other national organizations and permit us to see where we stand in relation to other states. The final report will be issued in the fall of 2000.
First in America Report Card Using information from the more than sixty indicators in the First in America Data Report, a letter grade will be awarded for North Carolina's progress and performance on each of the First in America goals. A sample of the First in America Report Card is provided. The first Report Card will be issued in the fall of 2000.
